Memorial Day Weekend in Sonora

Grandpa Allen and Marilyn invited us to spend Memorial Day weekend with them at their home in Sonora along with Marilyn's son Garin his wife Kristen, and their daughter Gemma who is 2 months younger then Charley.

We spent the weekend visiting, checking out downtown Sonora, and taking a ride to Indian Rock winery which is one of Grandpa Allen's favorite wineries.

During our visit Charley enjoyed looking at photo albums that Grandpa Allen had. 

We got to see lots of pictures of when Daddy was a little boy. 

One morning we went for a walk in downtown Sonora with Garin, Kristen, and Gemma.

Indian Rock Winery in Murphy's has very pretty grounds and a pond. Unfortunately all of the fish were full when we were there so we couldn't feed them but we got to stick our feet in the creek. 

Charley loved Garin and Kristen's dog Layla. But she did not like it when Layla would lick her face. She would put her hand out and say, "Stop." 

On our way back from Grandpa Allen's House we stopped by ZiZi and Steve's house in Copperopolis. Charley had fun seeing their horses, chickens, and dogs.
