The Silver Bunch: Family Trip to Las Vegas

This was quite a busy month for our family! On June 3rd my parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary! To celebrate we all went to Las Vegas for a week.

Before we left for our trip to Las Vegas I decided to change my hairstyle. It's hard to believe but I've had red hair for eighteen years! So I decided it was time for a new look plus I wanted a hairstyle that would take me less time in the morning since time is a precious commodity!

On June 4th Darrin and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary! It's amazing to me that it's already been five years! I am so blessed to have found such an amazing man to be my partner in this adventure called life! We decided that the best way to celebrate would be to spend time as a family so we drove an hour to the Ghiradelli Ice Cream Shop in Lathrop where we had hot fudge sundaes! They were delicious and it was definitely worth the drive.

Family Trip To Las Vegas

My parents decided that for their 40th wedding anniversary they wanted us all to get together in Las Vegas! So on June 10th the Fitzpatrick gang descended onto Las Vegas for a week! Everyone had a great time and it was fun to spend time with everyone.

It was hot in Las Vegas and the house we stayed at had a big pool! Charley enjoyed sticking her feet in the water and kicking but she wasn't too sure about getting in much further!

The house we rented was very close to the Silverton Casino. At the Silverton they have a very large fish tank and mermaid show. Charley just loved looking at the fish!

One afternoon we went out to lunch at Chili's. This was our first time taking Charley to a sit down restaurant. Charley was so little that we had to put our backpack behind her to help her fit in the high chair! She did great and enjoyed eating her avocado at the table.

The one thing Darrin wanted to see on this trip was the Pawn Shop from Pawn Stars. One day my brother Thomas, my brother-in-law Skyler, and Darrin all went to the pawn shop. Unfortunately they didn't get to see the guys who star on the show but they got to see some of the merchandise that has been on some of the shows.
