Friends, Firsts, and Cute Pics

This month has been full of firsts for our little girl!  On Valentine's Day she rolled over from her back to her tummy on the bed for the first time. She has been quite interested in her hands and she has been grabbing at her clothes. On February 23rd she started holding toys in her hands. She will hold her keys for a few minutes and is trying to figure out how to put them in her mouth. It's so fun to watch her figure out how this body works!

We went to the doctor this past week on February 21st for our four month well baby check. Charley is now 8.8 lbs and 22 inches!

Our friends Jennifer and Jasper came over to meet Charley! They brought us delicious sandwiches and helped us move furniture.  We moved Charley's nursery into our room and put Darrin's office back into our second bedroom. Charley is really social and she loves to meet new people. Thank you Jennifer and Jasper!!

Bath Time

It took us a few months but we finally figured out that this little girl does not like her bath before bed she likes it before dinner! When we changed her bath time she became quite happy to take a bath. She has just learned that she can kick in the bath and splash water. When she sucks in her lower lip we think she looks like a cabbage patch doll! Here is a video of her in the bath.

Charley looks so cute when we wrap her up in her bath towel!

Isn't this the cutest face!!

Happy Valentine's Day

It's no surprise that Charley received lots of sweet Valentine's cards! She got a Valentine from her cousin Bailey and her friend Jack. She also got a sweet card and book from Grandpa Allen and Marilyn. And Grandma and Grandpa sent Charley a Valentine's gift.  We took a couple videos of her enjoying the tissue paper that came in the box from Grandma and Grandpa. She loved playing with the tissue paper and it entertained her for almost an hour!

Three Month Review

This past month Charley has become much more social! She likes to look at people's faces and she has been smiling and cooing a lot! She has almost out grown her newborn clothes. Charley has also discovered that her hands can grab onto things and has been grabbing onto her clothes and mine.  For the first time this morning she rolled over from her back onto her tummy when we were laying in the bed! Here are some pictures and video from this past month.

In the late afternoon and evening Charley can get pretty fussy but Uncle Sheldon came over one Sunday afternoon and Charley was just fine! We told him he was the baby whisperer and he is welcome to come over any afternoon!

We love Charley's little voice and we are pretty sure her cooing is the cutest thing ever! Here is a video that we took of Charley cooing and "talking" to us with her sweet little voice!

On Sunday February 5th Charley got to experience her first Superbowl party!
