16 week check-up and ultrasound

Today we met with the high risk specialist Dr. Andrews at Kaiser. As part of the check-up Dr. Andrews did an ultrasound.  We got to see the baby's heart, spine, arm, and profile. Dr. Andrews told us that the baby is developing well and my pregnancy is going smoothly!  Dr. Andrews will continue to monitor my pregnancy and we will continue to see him as well as our regular OB Dr. Kim. In just a few weeks we should find out if we are having a boy or girl! I also got the clearance today from my OB Dr. Kim to go to Alaska in July!

14 week ultrasound

Darrin and I went to our 14 week  prenatal appointment hoping to hear the baby's heartbeat. Instead the doctor decided to do an ultrasound.  The baby is officially starting to look like a little person! Darrin loved this picture because it looks like the baby is waving!

3 Months

At the end of May I made it past the first trimester.  I am starting to get a bit of a baby bump and had to purchase my first pair of maternity pants.  I am hoping the nausea ends soon!
